Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Monopage ("we", "us") collects through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. We have tried to keep it short and plain. If something is unclear, use the contact form on our homepage.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to this website, including the blog and the contact form. It does not cover other websites that we link to, including the example projects shown in our portfolio, which have their own policies. It also does not cover information we handle for clients under a separate agreement. Those arrangements are governed by the agreement we sign with the client.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use the contact form or write to us, we receive your name, your email address, the type of project you are interested in, and the message you write. Please do not include anything sensitive in your message, such as payment card numbers, passwords, or health information. We do not need them to respond to an enquiry.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, our hosting provider receives technical information that your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request, and the date and time. Hosting providers typically keep this information in server logs to deliver the site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse.

Fonts. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. To do that, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details as part of the request.

Cookies and tracking. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics or tracking tools on this website. We do not build profiles about visitors. Our service providers may use technical cookies or similar technologies where needed to deliver the website securely or to protect forms from abuse. If we add analytics or other tools in future, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Read and reply to your enquiry, and prepare a proposal if you ask for one
  • Run and secure the website, and find and fix technical problems
  • Keep records of our communications and our business
  • Meet our legal obligations and protect our legal rights

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not use your contact details for marketing unless you have asked to hear from us or the law otherwise allows it.

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on the following bases to process your personal information:

  • Steps before entering into a contract. When you ask us about a project, we process your details to respond and to prepare a proposal.
  • Legitimate interests. We have a legitimate interest in running and securing our website, answering questions, keeping business records, and defending our rights. We balance those interests against your rights and expectations.
  • Legal obligation. We may need to keep or disclose information to comply with the law.
  • Consent. Where we ask for your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before.

5. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with the following kinds of recipients, and only as needed:

  • Form processing. Contact form submissions are handled by Formspree, which receives what you type into the form and passes it to us by email. Formspree also stores submissions according to its own policy.
  • Website hosting. The website is hosted by Netlify, which processes the technical data described above to serve and protect the site.
  • Fonts. Google serves the fonts used on this site.
  • Email and office tools. We use an email service to receive and reply to messages.
  • Professional advisers and authorities. Lawyers, accountants, insurers, and public authorities, where we are legally required to or need to protect our rights.
  • A successor business. If Monopage is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner, who must respect this policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past twelve months.

6. International transfers

Some of the providers listed above are located in, or process information in, the United States and other countries. If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, this means your information may be transferred outside your country. Where that happens we rely on safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose, or on the provider's participation in an approved data transfer framework, where available.

7. How long we keep information

We keep enquiries and related messages for as long as we need them to respond to you, to carry out any project that follows, and to keep reasonable business and legal records. After that we delete or anonymize them. Server logs kept by our hosting provider are retained for the periods set by that provider. If you ask us to delete your enquiry, we will do so unless we need to keep it for a legal reason.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights:

  • Access. Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction. Ask us to fix information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Deletion. Ask us to delete your information.
  • Restriction and objection. Ask us to limit how we use your information or object to certain uses.
  • Portability. Ask for your information in a portable format, where the law provides this right.
  • Withdraw consent. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
  • Complain. You can complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office. In the European Economic Area, it is the supervisory authority in your country.

If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you can also ask us what personal information we collected about you, ask for it to be deleted or corrected, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

To use any of these rights, use the contact form on our homepage. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, for example by replying to the email address you used. We will respond within the time that the law requires. You may also be able to use an authorized agent to make a request for you.

9. Children

This website is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. The website is delivered over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to enquiries to the people who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This website links to other sites, including projects we have built for clients and other third parties. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before you share personal information with them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add a new tool or the law changes. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we will take extra steps to tell you where practical, such as a notice on the homepage.

13. Contact us

If you have questions about this policy or want to use your rights, use the contact form on our homepage.
